Description

This VWCC Quick Connect Contact Center Customer Service Specialist program provides students with the basic skills and knowledge they will need to work in a contact center/telemarketing/customer service center and will provide the opportunity to gain non-company specific experience in this career field. Students also have the opportunity to take the NRFF's National Professional Certification in Customer Service.

Business Communication & Customer Service: interpersonal and business communication skills, business reasoning & problem solving, customer service, conflict management, time management, the sales process. Computer Literacy: The Windows operating system, GIS mapping/geographic knowledge, using networking/chat components. Job Readiness: Job search etiquette, applications & resumes, interviewing, workplace ethics, and financial literacy.

Registration is required by 5pm on the Thursday prior to class start date. Students must complete a non-credit college application and have completed the Career Readiness Certificate at a Bronze level or higher.
