Foundations of Revit Architecture
This course will focus on the basic tools needed to work with Revit Architecture software including Management of Projects
in the Revit Environment. The parametric nature of Revit, Building Information Management (BIM) is integrated throughout
the course. The class begins with the fundamentals of the user interface and Revit commands and how the program streamlines
the design process using a 3D central model. Revit Architecture is designed to work the way architects think.
Independent Motor Vehicle Dealer-Operator Course
Dealer-operators of any new independent motor vehicle dealership in Virginia are required to successfully complete a course
of study before they will be allowed to take the independent dealer-operator qualification test at any DMV Customer Service
Center. The Virginia Community College System and the Virginia Independent Automobile Dealers Association (VIADA) have
teamed up to present this two-day course.
Intermediate Revit Architecture
This intermediate course will expand on the knowledge of the foundations of Revit and further develop integrated floor
plans, coordinate systems, drawing families, massing, extruding, dimensions, creation and editing.
Project Management Professional Certification
This 10-week course is designed to prepare students for the PMP Certification exam. It reviews the concepts of Project
Management as defined by the Project Management Institute, the accrediting body for project management. It will also
fulfill the requirement for 35 contact hours of project management education for individuals seeking PMP certification

Virginia's Community College System offer a fast track alternative licensure program -- EducateVA -- a statewide initiative
to address critical shortages in the teaching profession throughout the state, allowing you to bring your dream of teaching
into reality. If you have the appropriate qualifications, EducateVA can help you become a licensed teacher in the state of
Virginia, while maintaining your current job and responsibilities! Using a combination of online and onsite instruction,
you can complete the teaching certification program within 16 weeks, with six Saturdays required onsite at VWCC.
