Tax Preparer Regulation is Here

As of September 2010,all tax preparers must register with the IRS and pass a competency test within 3 years. All registered tax preparers are required to complete 15 hours of continuing professional education (CPE) annually beginning January 2011.

Virginia Western has the Solution for You. The Income Tax School offers three IRS Exam Prep courses and over 20 IRS approved on-line classes. Mix and Match from the class schedule to meet your state and federal requirements.
