consortiA advisory council
The primary purpose of the Tech Prep Advisory Council is to provide “real-world” connections that strengthen technical programs in the Roanoke Valley and surrounding areas. Advisory Council members meet 3-4 times per year to evaluate program curriculum, advise on the integration of academic, business and industry standards within technical programs, and review state and national standards to assess technical facilities and equipment. Members are a diversified group, with representation from business & industry and the educational community that provide professional guidance, leadership assistance to students, and participate in public relations and classroom activities.
