So are we. Think about joining our alcohol research study.

We are looking for people who drink alcohol excessively and are interested in cutting down or even quitting. Eligible participants must be at least 18 to 65 years old for this short term (21 day) remotely delivered heavy drinking experimental treatment study. Must be willing to provide a $75 deposit that can be earned back (deposit can be partially funded by study earnings).

 

Participants will receive up to:

  • $286 for participation and to offset time and effort
  • $50 bonus for completing all study requirements
  • Additional $275 based on performance within the study

Do you use electronic cigarettes AND smoke conventional cigarettes?

Volunteers from ages 18 to 65 are needed for a 6 to 10 visit confidential electronic cigarette research study. Sessions last approximately 1.5 hours. Compensation can range from $200 to $335, depending on extent of participation.

Participation may involve:

  • Screening questions
  • Blood draws to measure plasma nicotine content
  • Smoking Tasks

Do you use stimulants? Want to see your brain?

So do we. Think about joining our confidential brain imaging study. Volunteers age 18-65 years who use stimulant drugs such as cocaine are needed for a 3 to 4 visit decision making study. Receive $120 to $150 compensation (dependent on extent of participation), an optional CD of your brain images, and possible additional compensation for referring friends.

Participation may involve:

  • Risky choice questions
  • Computer tasks
  • Urine sample
  • Functional MRI brain scan

Participants MUST NOT have: claustrophobia, history of brain injury, metal implants, be pregnant, or have unmanaged psychiatric disorders. Strictly confidential! This is not a treatment study.
