ATTENTION STUDENTS!! Beginning January 10, 2017, the Virginia Western Educational Foundation will accept applications for the 2017 Spring Book Assistance Fund to assist students with textbook needs for spring semester 2017.

Ask an instructor or an advisor to provide you with the application form. They may access the application on VWConnect. Or you may pick one up at the Educational Foundation office in 214 Fishburn Hall. Your instructor or advisor must sign and submit the completed form by e-mail to cpayne@virginiawestern.edu, fax at 540-857-6370 or hand-delivered to 214 Fishburn Hall.

Funds are awarded to students enrolled in a minimum of six credits with a minimum 2.0 GPA. Students are awarded on a first come, first serve basis, with a maximum of $400.00 per award per semester, usable only at the campus bookstore. Only applications listing textbooks and/or access codes pertaining to current coursework will be considered. Funds are limited and intended for those who have no other resources such as financial aid, scholarships or loans with which to pay for textbooks. Incomplete applications will delay consideration and may result in no award.

Book Assistance funds are made available through the generosity of Virginia Western employees and Follett Corporation, our campus bookstore retailer.
