The Steering Team facilitates active participation of the entire Virginia Western community (both internal and external stakeholders) in the planning process. Having College-wide representation, the Steering Team structures and organizes the various planning tasks and events that take place over the planning period, including the establishment of ad hoc committees and groups that will carry out specific planning tasks. The Steering Team will monitor and direct ongoing processes, including the initial drafting of a strategic planning report. Individual members of the Steering Team will assume a leadership role in engaging various constituents during the strategic planning process.
