Change Your Name, Address/Phone or SSN
Changes to your name or SSN must be completed in the college Records Office, Chapman Hall, room C107. Address and telephone number changes can be completed in the Records Office or online through the Self-Service Student Center on My VWCC. Please stop by and complete the Notification of Change Form, or click on the above link to download the form. You may fax the form to our office (540-857-6102).
Please note that if you have a federal privacy restriction (FERPA) attached to your record, all changes made to your personally identifiable information (name, address, phone, etc.) will have to be completed--in person--in the Records Office.
Please note that college policy requires official documentation for changes to your SSN (i.e., new SSN card) or a change of name (driver’s license, SSN card, or court papers reflecting your new name).
