Notice to Students with Pending Financial Aid Refunds:

The college adopted a new process for financial aid refunds involving automated clearing house (ACH) transactions to checking accounts and debit cards beginning with the Spring Semester of 2015.  As with any new process, we have encountered some unforeseen and unavoidable issues. The issues have been amplified by the number of inclement weather days that the college has been closed or delayed which has impacted our ability to issue refunds in a timely manner.  We are working hard to resolve these issues and get refunds in the hands of our students as soon as possible.  Please be reminded that this new process is not a financial aid process, but a payment process implemented by the Financial Services area of the college.  We believe that this new electronic process will ultimately be an improvement over the paper check processes that we have employed in the past.  We appreciate your patience as we go through this transition and emphasize that we are doing everything possible to minimize the issues and make this a smooth, fast, and seamless process for our students.  If you continue to encounter issues or have not received your financial aid refund, please feel free to contact the Financial Services office at any of the numbers listed below.
