Shortened Library Hours During Semester Break

Beginning Tuesday, May 6th, Brown Library’s main floor (the Link Learning Commons) and the top floor (Library Services) will be open as follows: 
  • Monday-Friday: 8am-5pm
  • Saturday and Sunday: Closed

The Writing Center will be closed from May 6th-19th. The Testing Center (ground floor) will have regular hours which are posted here.

2014 Diploma Campaign

2014 Diploma Campaign

During the month of May, Kroger and Stop In Food Stores are partnering with Virginia Western Community College to support the Community College Access Program (CCAP) and make college possible for local high school graduates.

Stop by any local Kroger or Stop In Food Stores location and donate $1 or $5 when you check out. All proceeds directly benefit CCAP and help bolster the economic base of the Roanoke Valley.

Update your personal information!

Is your personal information in the Student Center up to date?  Please check your mailing address, telephone number, e-mail address, etc. to make sure they are correct.  We want to make sure you receive all communication that is sent by the college.  To edit your personal information:  (Note:  If you have a name change, a Notification of Change form and verifying documentation should be submitted to the Record’s Office.)

 

  • Log-in through MyVWCC
  • Click VCCS SIS: Student Information System
  • Click Student Center
  • Under Personal Information, update the appropriate item
  • Click OK and Save
