Registration Instructions:

  1. GO TO VWCC HOME PAGE   www.virginiawestern.edu.
  2. Click on Hall Career Center (Top and Center of homepage).
  3. On the left side click JOB BANK.
  4. Click on STUDENT/ALUMNI.
  5. Click on REGISTER.
  6. Fill in template (starred fields are required; use your school email address in the primary email field).
  7. Click SUBMIT. An email verification link will be sent to the primary email.
  8. Log in to your email and follow the link verify your account and set a password.
  9. You will then be taken into the job bank.
  10. Upload RESUME to apply( need help?- check homepage for Resume Power Hours)

VT Carillion School of Medicine Tour Next Wednesday!

The Virginia Tech School of Medicine has extended an invitation to all VWCC Students to tour it's brand new state-of-the-art facility, on Wednesday, April 2, at 12pm.

If you are interested in the Health  and Sciences, or would like to learn more about the programs offered at
the VT Carillion School of Medicine
, than this tour is be a great opportunity!

The International Student Club will be providing transportation from the school around 11:30am. You are allowed to drive  if you prefer but parking may be hard to find.

Seating is limited so email DeAnthony at: dlp2010@email.vccs.edu to have your name added to the
roster.

INFO: Selected high school jazz students from Roanoke Valley high schools participating in CCAP will perform. Brandon Lee, a renowned jazz trumpeter will be the guest conductor.

Don't have any classes in the new building? Want to show your friends and family where you go to school everyday? Check out all the technology and labs inside the Fralin Center this weekend when the Virginia Western Alumni Association hosts an Open House at the Fralin Center for Science and Health Professions. Learn about all the health professions programs housed in the Fralin Center, speak with Roanoke Valley health professions service providers at the vendor fair, and enjoy free refreshments and prizes. The event is open to the public.

Local Book Featured in People Magazine and Available at Brown Library

Mister Owita’s Guide to Gardening by local author, Carol Wall, is featured in the “Books” review section of the March 10th issue of People Magazine. The review calls the book “a profoundly moving memoir that tells the story of an unexpected friendship and the rewards of reaping what we sow.”

Student Women’s Basketball Open Gym

Student Women's Basketball open gym will be held:

Mondays 7:30 - 9:30 PM

Wednesdays 8:30 - 10:00 PM, ending April 23.

Open gyms held in Humanities Gymnasium.  Open to all current female students.  Must have student ID to sign-in.
