WHEN: Saturday, April 5 at 7 p.m.

WHERE: The Jefferson Center--Shaftman Performance Hall

COST: $8 for students

INFO: Selected high school jazz students from Roanoke Valley high schools participating in CCAP will perform. Brandon Lee, a renowned jazz trumpeter will be the guest conductor.

Smoking Areas

The College’s Clean Air Policy currently prohibits smoking in all areas of the south campus except in the designated shelter located adjacent to Humanities in Lot 1E.  The South Campus is described as any area between Colonial Avenue and State Route 220.  This includes Webber, Chapman, Craig and Duncan Halls the Natural Science Center, Arboretum, Greenhouse, Humanities Building and the Thomas Center.  This also includes all parking lots, sidewalks and common areas.

Smoking on the south side of campus is limited to outside areas that are at least 25 feet from any building entrance.

The discarding of cigarette butts on the ground as litter on campus may subject the person to a criminal fine for littering.

Fall Volleyball

Female students interested in playing on the 2014 Women's Volleyball team should email Scott Wilde at swilde@virginiawestern.edu

Women's Volleyball season runs from August to late October.  Students must be full-time in the fall semester.  Team travels to Virginia, North Carolina, and Maryland schools and plays around 20 matches.
