CCAP Jazz Honor Band this Saturday!

Make College Possible and plan to attend the CCAP Jazz Honor Band presented by Trane. All proceeds benefit Virginia Western's Community College Access Program. Reserve your ticket today!

WHAT: CCAP Jazz Honor Band Concert presented by Trane

WHEN: Saturday, April 5 at 7 p.m.

WHERE: The Jefferson Center--Shaftman Performance Hall

COST: $8 for students

INFO: Selected high school jazz students from Roanoke Valley high schools participating in CCAP will perform. Brandon Lee, a renowned jazz trumpeter will be the guest conductor.

VT Carilion School of Medicine Tour Next THURSDAY!

The Virginia Tech School of Medicine has extended an invitation to all VWCC Students to tour it's brand new state-of-the-art facility, on THURSDAY, April 3 at 12pm (This is a new date from the first post).

If you are interested in the Health and Sciences, or would like to learn more about the programs offered at the VT Carilion School of Medicine, than this tour is be a great opportunity!

The International Student Club will be providing transportation from the school around 11:30am. You are are allowed to drive if you prefer but parking may be hard to find.

Seating is limited so email DeAnthony Pierce at: dlp2010@email.vccs.edu to have your name added to the roster.

  7. Click SUBMIT. An email verification link will be sent to the primary email.
  8. Log in to your email and follow the link verify your account and set a password.

Check out all the technology and labs inside the Fralin Center this weekend when the Virginia Western Alumni Association hosts an Open House at the Fralin Center for Science and Health Professions. Learn about all the health professions programs housed in the Fralin Center, speak with Roanoke Valley health professions service providers at the vendor fair, and enjoy free refreshments and prizes. The event is open to the public.
