Indoor Soccer in Humanities

Student Indoor Soccer Open Gyms

Mondays & Thursdays

4:00 – 5:30 PM

Humanities Gymnasium (H100).  Student ID with Spring 2014 sticker is required to sign-in.

Men’s Basketball game this Saturday

Virginia Western Men's Basketball will face Lord Fairfax Community College Saturday, February 1 at 3:00 PM.  Game will be played in the Humanities Gymnasium.

Women’s Rec Softball interest

Virginia Western Student Activities is seeking female students interested in playing in the Roanoke City Women's Open Softball League from mid April to mid June.

The season is 10 games, with a tournament at the end.  Games are played on Tuesday and Thursday nights.

Current Spring 2014 students interested should contact Cecil Cox at ccox@virginiawestern.edu.

Spring Theatre Auditions

Do you dream of being a star of the stage? Now's your chance with the Virginia Western Theatre production of Love Letters by A.R. Gurney. Auditions for a male and a female lead will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Feb. 3-4 in Whitman Theater!

The Virginia Western Keep Calm and Cure On Relay for Life is selling luminaria bags. Bags are $10 each and can be decorated to honor or memoralize your friends or family who have been affected by cancer.

Women’s Volleyball Team

Female students interested in playing on the 2014 Women's Volleyball team should email Scott Wilde at swilde@virginiawestern.edu

Women's Volleyball season runs from August to late October.  Students must be full-time in the fall semester.  Team travels to Virginia, North Carolina, and Maryland schools and plays around 20 matches.
