Career Premiere: Job & Internship Fair

The Career Premiere Fair brings employers together with students and recent graduates from several liberal arts and sciences colleges, universities and community colleges in the northwest and southwest regions of Virginia.

The purpose of the Fair is to share information with college students and graduates about career and internship opportunities at participating organizations.

Resume Power Hour

Resume Power Hour is a brief 10-15 minute, one-on-one informational session that will help you tweak your resume to the needs of your future employer.

This is a drop-in, first-come, first-served service! Bring a hard copy of your resume and have it reviewed by one of our professionals.

Need help with a research assignment? Now you can reserve a Research Consultation with a Reference Librarian for up to 30 minutes to help you find resources for your research paper and citations. To schedule a session, call 857-7303, email ddulaney@virginiawestern.edu, or stop by the 2nd floor of the Brown Library building. All you have to do is have your topic selected and provide a copy of your assignment. Hurry, the semester is almost over!

Student Council Meeting Today!

From Ron Hasan – Student Council Chair:
I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday!

I know this a critical point in the semester as finals are approaching however, today we will have our last and final meeting for the semester.

We will discuss future endeavors and reflect on what has occurred. I encourage club affiliates to come and announce any events/plans/information for the rest of the academic year.  Food will be provided!

Come on out at 3pm - Today - Tuesday, December 3! The meeting will be in the Thomas Center, Room 205.

Good luck to everyone with all your exams, it'll be a pretty hectic two weeks!
