Information regarding October 23

The Dedication of the Center for Science and Health Professions in honor of Horace G. and Ann H. Fralin will be held tomorrow, Wednesday, October 23. Invited speakers will begin arriving on campus at approximately 3 p.m. and guests will begin arriving by 4 p.m.

To prepare for the event, parking lot 8 in front of the Center for Science and Health Professions will be closed all day today, October 22 and tomorrow, October 23. Faculty, staff and students attending classes in the Center for Science and Health Professions on Tuesday and Wednesday (all day) are encouraged to enter and exit the building on the ground floor (Colonial Avenue), or from the third floor (along the Business Science walkway).

Please plan to park in the following parking lots tomorrow:

  • Chapman Hall (lot 1)
  • Thomas Center (lot 2 and 3)
  • Webber Hall (lot 7)
  • Top of hill behind Anderson Hall (lot 14)

To accommodate the increased traffic, the following parking lots/spaces will be reserved for the entire day:

  • Fishburn Hall (lot 5)
  • Administrative lot (lot 6)
  • Spaces along McNeil Drive
  • Center for Science and Health Professions (lot 8)
  • Colonial Avenue/College Services (lot 9)
  • Tennis Courts/Whitman Theater (lot 15)--tentative based on completion

Student ID Office Hours – Fall 2013

Fall 2013 Student ID hours are below. Students need a copy of their fall schedule with their name on the schedule.  Students must also bring  a government issued photo ID. 

Students with VWCC ID just need to bring a copy of their schedule to get their Fall 2013 sticker.

The student ID office is located on the 2nd Floor lobby of the Thomas Center. The remaining semester hours are below.

Fall 2013 Student ID Hours:

Mondays, Sept. 9 – Dec. 2      10:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Tuesdays, Sept. 10 – Dec. 3      2:30 – 5:30 PM
