Spring Break Make-Up

At this point, we have missed three Fridays due to inclement weather and many of you have had questions about the impact that this will have on Spring Break. For those classes meeting on a MWF meeting schedule, there will be no affect at this time. For those classes or labs that meet only on Fridays (Full-Time Friday classes and Friday Science labs), please plan to meet at your regularly scheduled time on the Friday of Spring Break (March 8th) to make up the missed class time.

Volunteer Opportunities

The Mill Mountain Zoo is looking for volunteers over the next few months to help out with their Otter exhibit- if you are interested in volunteering on a Thursday afternoon please let me know- if a group of students would like to go the Volunteer Center may be able to provide transportation.  For more information please contact Lori Mier, Volunteer Coordinator at lmier@virginiawestern.edu or 857-6688.
