Fall Graduation Application Deadline Extended

The Fall 2012 Graduation application deadline has been extended to November 30, 2012. 
 
Graduation applications are available in each of the Academic School offices and from your advisor.  Your graduation application should be reviewed and signed by your advisor.  The following link may be used to find your advisor:  www.virginiawestern.edu/services/advising/advisors.php.
 
Please note, a $15.00 graduation application fee must be paid at the time of application (at the Cashier’s Office in Chapman Hall, Room C104, and the receipt brought to the Records Office in Chapman Hall, Room C107.)  Thank you.

ATTENTION: STUDENT PARENTS!!

Please attend the Students as Parents Group Meeting on Tuesday, November 13, 2012 in the Natural Science Center from 11 a.m. to 12 noon. 

All Students who are Parents or Pregnant are invited.  Come and meet other parenting students to share ideas, information or just to vent. Become a part of the Virginia Western Student Parents Community.

Vote Today!

Today is Election Day!

Polls close at 7 p.m.

Find your polling location at: http://www.sbe.virginia.gov/

Virginians must provide voter identification. Acceptable forms include:

  • Virginia voter registration card
  • Valid Virginia driver's license
  • Military ID
  • Any Federal, Virginia state or local government-issued ID
  • Employer issued photo ID card
  • Valid student ID issued by any institution of higher education located in the Commonwealth of Virginia
  • Current utility bill, bank statement, government check or paycheck indicating the name and address of the voter

November Student Council Meeting -Today!

Want to Share Ideas, Opinions and Make Recommendations to College Staff? Want to make Virginia Western a better place? Join the Virginia Western Student Council!

The Student Council meets monthly and is open to all Virginia Western students!

Join us for the next meeting - TODAY, Tuesday, November 6 at 12:30 pm in Thomas Center, Room 205. Refreshments provided.

All meetings take place the first Tuesday of every month at 12:30 in the Thomas Center, Room 205.

Bookstore Inventory – November 7

The Bookstore will be closed on November 7th for inventory. They will open after the inventory count is complete. They anticipate opening around 2 p.m. on November 7th.
