  • Fired up for a Cure (9am – 3pm) @ Roanoke Civic Center, October is Fire Prevention and Breast Cancer Awareness Month...so our firefighters are stepping it up to help "extinguish" breast cancer!   • HUGE MULTI FAMILY YARD SALE: SAT SEPTEMBER 22, 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.  Books, purses, clothes, baby stuff, toys, antiques, holiday items, bake sale. All proceeds from the yard/ bake sale going to my dad battling lung cancer for his medical bills. Directions:419 Electric Rd near McDonalds and Oak Grove Plaza.
