WHERE:  Webber Hall, Room 217
FACILITATOR:  Ms. Edna Whittier
This session will introduce the idea of learning styles, which are your preferred ways of taking in and learning new material. Once you identify your learning style, you can determine how closely it matches the traditional teaching modalities used in higher education. You may need to develop your weaker learning styles and adopt strategies for working in class, studying, and taking exams that maximize your strengths.

Join us in Whitman Theater on Sept 18 for a Special Announcement

Please save the date and join President Robert H. Sandel and the Educational Foundation for a major announcement at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, September 18 in Whitman Theater.
The pending announcement involves exciting details about a partnership to provide greater access to higher education for local students. The investment in Virginia Western not only provides financial support for our students, but also positively impacts economic development in the Roanoke region.
