Discover Mechatronics (rising grades 6-8) T-Th 7/17-7/19, 8:30am-4:00pm, cost: $145 Students in this three day camp will have the opportunity to explore the fundamentals of robotics, computer programming, electronics and mechanical processes through project based activities. Students will be able to design, build and program a unique project using a specific set of modules...all while building friendships in a fun-filled environment. The ultimate goal of the Mechatronics Camp is to inspire and educate students by introducing them to engineering technology and the many exciting career opportunities available to them in the high-tech industry. Additionally, the summer camp will provide a fun and exciting atmosphere that encourages: Innovation, Creative thinking, Motivation, Organization, Self-esteem, and Teamwork.

Virginia Western’s OSHA 10-hour Training Program for General Industry - # 34478 MANF 2249 A2 - July 28, 2012 and August 4, 2012
Program provides training for workers and employers on recognition, avoidance, abatement, and prevention of safety and health hazards in workplaces in general industry. The program also provides information regarding workers' rights, employer responsibilities, and the complaint process. Through this training, OSHA helps to ensure that workers are more knowledgeable about workplace hazards and their rights. Students will receive OSHA 10 cards upon successful completion of course.
