Resume Power Hour

Resume Power Hour occurs most Mondays between the hours of 11 a.m. and noon. Drop bythe Hall Career Center and have your resume reviewed by Ms. Perdue.  Handouts are available in the Hall Career Center to help get started or email rrice@virginiawestern.edu.

NOTE: The Hall Career Center will move to the Thomas Center, room 202 on June 4th.

New Location of Hall Career Center

The Hall Career Center is relocating to the second floor of the Thomas Center during the renovation of the Student Center. Be sure to visit the new location for help with job searching, resume writing, and interviewing skills. We look forward to seeing you soon.

On Campus Recruiting Wells Fargo

Wells Fargo will be on campus recruiting this Thursday, May 24, 9:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m., on the third floor of Webber Hall. Come by and find out about employment at Wells Fargo.

Apply for Summer Graduation by June 8

The deadline to apply for summer 2012 graduation is June 8, 2012.  Graduation applications are available in each division office and from your faculty advisor.  If you applied for spring graduation and failed to complete your requirements and now plan to finish them during the summer semester, it is necessary to complete a Summer 2012 Graduation Application.

The college uses  your student email account (@email.vccs.edu) to communicate important college events, news, and information. Be sure to check your student email regularly.

The Financial Aid Office no longer sends out award letters by mail. All Financial Aid information is sent to your student email.

College Closed May 28th

The College will be closed on May 28th for the Memorial Day Holiday. Have a safe and happy Memorial Day.

The Student Consumer Information regulations of the United States Department of Education require colleges and universities to provide prospective and current students and employees access to certain information to which they are entitled as consumers.
