Met Opera Live in HD Tickets

Join us Saturday, November 19th, as the Met Live in HD series continues with a performance of Glass's Satyagraha. Order lunch in advance from McAlister's Deli by calling 819-9422 or email carolhelms@peakrestaurants.com.

Doors open at noon and the performance will begin at 1 p.m. in Whitman Theater. The performance is scheduled to run approximately 4 hours with two intermissions. Scott Williamson, General & Artistic Director of Opera Roanoke, will present a discussion of this opera prior to the performance.

The Met’s visually extravagant production is back for an encore engagement. Richard Croft once again is Gandhi in Philip Glass’s unforgettable opera, which the Washington Post calls “a profound and beautiful work of theater.” Tickets are free to students.
