Budgeting can be a challenging undertaking because many people consider the task to be boring and dry. They also believe that budgets are constraining and take too much time to actually create. This workshop is designed to encourage you to: create a spending plan, track your expenses, consider your wants and needs, recognize that money management is about making wise choices, and practice living within your budget.

NEW SPRING STUDENTS - Guaranteed Priority Date for Financial Aid applications for the spring semester is November 4th. Your application date is a critical factor in receiving financial aid. This deadline is for students who currently do not have financial aid for the 2011-2012 school year. If you have already received an award for the fall semester, you do not have to reapply for the spring semester. Check your MY VWCC account for spring aid awards.
Please submit your financial aid application materials as early as possible. Students who have submitted all material required by the Financial Aid Office by the guarantee priority date will have their financial aid packaged by the tuition deadline.
Material received after the deadline will be processed on a first-come, first-serve basis. However, even if you are able to receive support, it likely will be provided on a retroactive basis after you already have enrolled in and paid for your courses. Be sure you are checking your student email and the Student Information System on MyVWCC regularly so that you may respond quickly if additional information is needed.
