HOST 2284: Herbs—Spicing up Holiday Cooking

Join us The Greenfield Center to learn about the selection, growing, and uses of culinary herbs and how they can enhance your holiday fare. Bring a favorite recipe to share; we’ll have new ones too. Cost is $30 per student. Call The Greenfield Center for more information: 966-3984.

Lunch Leads with BB&T

Our November Lunch Leads will be held on Tuesday, November 8, noon -1:30 p.m., in the Natural Science Center. Our guest speaker will be from BB&T.

Come hear everything you want to know about Business and Finance from an expert. Lunch Leads is a great networking event and you will receive FREE lunch.

Met Opera Live in HD – Free to Students!

Join us Saturday, November 5th, as the Met Live in HD series continues with a performance of Wagner's Siegfried. Order lunch in advance from McAlister's Deli by calling 819-9422 or email carolhelms@peakrestaurants.com.

Doors open at noon and the performance will begin at 1 p.m. in Whitman Theater. Scott Williamson, General & Artistic Director of Opera Roanoke, will present a discussion of this opera prior to the performance.
