Have you been told you have a distinct loud voice? Then the Virginia Western Spirit Club is looking for you!
This student organized and faculty supported cheer and dance team attends Virginia Western athletic events and serves as an entertaining component to the crowds, while supporting and encouraging the Virginia Western Rapids players with eye-catching moves and transitions. The team is also involved in community and campus events like pep rallies, service events, fundraising, and regular weekly rehearsals.
Come to weekly conditioning and try-outs all month long in the Humanities gymnasium (H100), Sundays from February 8 through March 1, from 3:30pm-6:30pm. Students will be emailed confirmation of making the Spirit Club.

Spring ID office schedule (minus holidays and school closings):
Monday – Thursday 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Friday 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Students who need a new ID need to bring a copy of their fall schedule with their name on the schedule printed January 1st or later, phone or tablet schedules from the Virginia Western app are also acceptable. Students must bring a government issued photo ID along with their EMPLID number.
Students with VWCC IDs just need to bring a copy of their schedule to get their Spring 2014 sticker. We no longer have open computer terminals next to our ID office, so students must have their schedules before they come to the office.
