Student Consumer Information

The Student Consumer Information regulations of the United States Department of Education require colleges and universities to provide prospective and current students and employees access to certain information to which they are entitled as consumers. It is Virginia Western's intention to provide complete and easy access to any information students and employees need. The information required for the student consumer information can be found at
http://virginiawestern.edu/services/studentconsumerinfo.php

The Federal Consumer Information also requires that Virginia Western annually distribute the college’s security report and Drug and Alcohol Policy to current and prospective students. Please be advised that the college’s crime statistics and annual reporting of all college incidents required under the Clery Act are available for your review on our website at the following link.

If you have any questions about the crime statistics annual report, please feel free to contact Craig Harris, Police Chief.

However, even if you are able to receive support, it likely will be provided on a retroactive basis after you already have enrolled in and paid for your courses. Be sure you are checking your student email and the Student Information System on MyVWCC regularly so that you may respond quickly if additional information is needed.
