Brown Library currently subscribes to 94 periodical titles in print format. This includes magazines, journals, and newspapers. In order to allow all patrons equal access to them, periodicals have a non-circulating status; this means that they must be read within the library only and cannot be checked out. They are located on the top floor of the library.
Brown Library is also a member of the VIVA consortium, which provides online databases like Factiva, Project Muse, and the EBSCO collection. These databases cover a wide variety of sources, many of which are full-text. See VIVA Full-Text for a list of periodicals covered.
