Looking to do some research for your criminal justice or history class? Or maybe you have a paper to write for your English class? Don’t fret because the Brown Library has developed a handy set of topic guides which covers a wide range of subjects.

1. First, head on over to our Topic Guides homepage.
2. Then, choose your subject. Writing a paper on Alice in Wonderland or Walt Whitman? Got it. Want to find out more about our science and engineering databases? Got it.
3. Once you’ve chosen which subject interests you, the related Topic Guide will point you to the books, periodicals, and specific databases which will best supply the information you need.
4. Takes notes, record your citations, and get to work on those papers and projects!
