How do I log into my student e-mail account?

  1. Open your Internet browser.
  2. Go to http://www.virginiawestern.edu/.
  3. Click the MY VWCC link located at the top in the dark blue banner. You can also find the My VWCC button in the lower right-hand column.
  4. Enter your Username and Password.
  5. Click Log In.
  6. Click the Gmail link under the My Tools section.

I do not know my e-mail password how do I reset it?

Note: This changes all passwords for the MY VWCC system.

  1. Open your Internet browser.
  2. Go to http://www.virginiawestern.edu/.
  3. Click the MY VWCC link located at the top in the dark blue banner. You can also find the My VWCC button in the lower right-hand column.
  4. Click the "Look up your username and set your password." link.
  5. Follow the steps to reset your password.

my name has changed can my e-mail name be updated?

Your e-mail name can be updated to reflect name changes. We discourage this because a new e-mail account will be created and all old e-mails will be lost.

I deleted an e-mail out of my trash folder. Can I get it back?

If a deleted item is no longer in your Trash folder, it is gone. VWCC does not have any ability to restore deleted items.
