The VWCC Help Desk provides first level help desk support services for the college's administrative and academic offices, computer labs, faculty, staff and students. IET Software Deployment News - Software Center Desktop Icon
IET is now using Microsoft System Center to deploy software campus wide. This tool can be used to create automated unattended software installation and also facilitate self-service installation of software as needed. Packages of software can be configured requiring little or no user interaction, simplifying the install process. This system can also allow users to install new software upgrades when convenient.
Access to software offerings will be available using a new Software Center desktop icon. This icon will be added to all college workstations, thin clients and laptops in the very near future.
