IE implementation Cycle
Virginia Western has implemented a perpetual, campus-wide institutional effectiveness (IE) cycle of planning, implementing, evaluating, and improving. This continuous cycle of planning, implementing, evaluating, and improving is applied at every level of the college and is designed to ascertain that the college is effectively achieving its institutional mission and strategic goals. By using a cyclical process to assess institutional effectiveness, the college is able to focus its efforts, activities, and resources on continuously improving its services and programs.
