Tributes and Memorials

The Virginia Western Community College Educational Foundation Tribute and Memorial Program was created as a means to offer special recognition to individuals who have made a difference in a donor’s life. A contribution to the Tribute and Memorial Program gives the donor the opportunity to honor a loved one, friend, or business associate through a memorial gift or in tribute on an occasion of celebration, such as a birthday, anniversary, or retirement. A tribute gift may also be made as an expression of appreciation to a caregiver.  A gift to the program in the name of the honoree is a way to express feelings of remembrance or gratitude. 

A tribute or memorial gift may be made to the Annual Giving Fund or added to an existing fund or scholarship.  For more information about endowing a scholarship or existing endowed scholarships please, click here.

When a gift is made, the Educational Foundation will notify the honoree or next of kin (if requested), and the gift will be administered as the donor specifies.  For more information on tribute or memorial opportunities please contact the Foundation.
