Summary of Position:
Provide hands-on education and interaction at the museum's living collections, including the Living River/Touch Tank and the Butterfly Garden. Provide coverage for living collection exhibits during assigned shifts and facilitate the visitor's experience. Help protect exhibits and living collections by informing visitors about proper usage or handling. Work with staff to maintain up-to-date information for the museum's living collections. Provide support as needed at museum's special events, including occasional work after hours. Provide exceptional customer service to museum visitors. Provide support to volunteers as needed. Perform other duties as assigned.

Provide exceptional customer service through sales via POS system in museum store. Cash out and reconcile receipts. Maintain visual merchandising, restocking, and straightening inventory, Provide ongoing review of merchandise stock levels. Maintain work areas including counter, office, and storage. Receive incoming shipments: receive, count, label, and merchandise. Generate sales reports as requested by manager. Stay informed about current and future museum exhibitions and programs. Answer routine customer questions, emails, mail, and phone inquiries. Make signs for display. Provide support to staff and volunteers as needed. Summary of Position:
Ensure that each museum visitor receives outstanding customer service by providing a friendly environment which includes greeting and acknolwedging every visitor, answering questions, maintaining outstanding standards, and thorough exhibit knowledge along with all other components of customer service. General and group admission sales, as well as up-selling membership, and educational programming. Administer the museum's visitor service daily activities to include cash, gropu, membership sales, and accurate closing reports that balance back to the daily sales cash report. Proficient in emergency and evacuation procedures and able to evacuate the museum in a calm and efficient manner. Clean exhibits. Provide support as needed at museum's special events, including occasional work after hours. Provide support to volunteers as needed.
