Summary of Position:
Provide exceptional customer service through sales via POS system in museum store. Cash out and reconcile receipts. Maintain visual merchandising, restocking, and straightening inventory, Provide ongoing review of merchandise stock levels. Maintain work areas including counter, office, and storage. Receive incoming shipments: receive, count, label, and merchandise. Generate sales reports as requested by manager. Stay informed about current and future museum exhibitions and programs. Answer routine customer questions, emails, mail, and phone inquiries. Make signs for display. Provide support to staff and volunteers as needed. Provide support as needed at museum's special events, including occasional work after hours. Perform other duties as assigned.
