Summary of Position:
Offer customer service in the Resource Room to individuals looking for employment. Help clients become familiar with using a computer, including ensuring they have an email account. Offer guidance in navigating through the Virginia Employment Commission website. Offer assistance in navigating through job search websites. Show clients cover letter and resume templates and offer assistance so they can complete these. Offer handouts that can offer assistance and provide information on job search topics. Manage copies of needed handouts and copy machine paper and ink cartridges. Keep Resource Room equipment clean and make sure that rules are followed.

Summary of Position:
Meet and get to know Day Services participants and their unique abilities. Help engage participants in daily activities, including crafts and games. Assist with weekly Pet Therapy sessions, which include llamas, dogs, and rabbits. Help engage participants in weekly outings, including the library, laundromat, and stores. Socialize with participants during lunchtime. Design and lead occasional educational activities. Help engage participants in monthly birthday parties, including serving refreshments. Interact with all participants and help them to meet personal goals.

Assist in preparing and leading retail team meetings, assist in preparing weekly retail reports, learn how to analyze data on store sales, visit stores and audit for appearance, observe and learn how to handle customer complaints, observe how to deal with employee controversy.
