Wait List is an automatic registration feature that goes into effect when a class is closed and has reached its enrollment limit. Wait lists are turned on when all the seats in a class have been filled. If a student in the class drops and a seat opens up, that seat is filled by the next student on the Wait List. This is done using an automated process.
Joining a Wait List does not guarantee enrollment in a course. It is the student's responsibility to monitor their Wait List position regularly and make enrollment decisions based on that position. Students will receive an email to their Virginia Western email account if they are enrolled in a class from the wait list. However, it is the student's responsibility to monitor enrollment through their MyVWCC account.
Wait lists go live for the Fall 2014 registration period at 8:00 AM on Monday, June 2, 2014. Wait lists are active from the first date of enrollment through the last date to add the class.
