VCCS has sponsored replacement of some exterior doors with new doors which have handicap accessible door operators and improved safety hardware. This project is scheduled to start very soon. If you see a contractor working on the entrance to your building they are installing these improvements. We have told them not to generate a lot of noise, to protect from dust, provide signs and safety barriers. They are also to maintain an exit pathway in an emergency.
