A Sincere Thank You from Sylvia & Robert Foster

Dear Faculty & Staff Family,

I don’t have the words to express my appreciation for the prayers, words of encouragement and contribution of days given to me during my second journey of faith with my husband. I would not have been able to get through this journey without all of you. The first journey was a couple of years ago almost to the date. Your words of encouragement and prayers got us through that one. Although the timing was about the same, this journey was a lot harder and challenging.

For those of you that did not know, I actually lost my husband Robert at our home on February 12th. However by GOD’s grace, he returned to us after 7 full days of being in a comma. On the 8th day at 3:30 AM, he opened his eyes and followed some commands. It took him several weeks of recovery with first a ventilator, then a trachea, now at rehab. This event was another miracle! Robert does have a long ways to go is improving one day at a time.

I especially thank my staff: Robert Coleman, Joyce Story and Amy Maiolo for going above and beyond during this time by keeping the office in place and being prayer warriors. Proverbs 17:17 reads " A friend is always loyal, and a brother is born to help in time of need." That is why I call all of my co-workers at VWCC "family." I love all of you! As you know, I will always be available to help in any way I can for my "family." I will never forget this for the rest of my life. GOD bless you!!

Love,

Sylvia & Robert Foster
