CLUBS
International Association of Administrative Professionals Student Chapter (IAAP)
The VWCC IAAP Student Chapter began in 1969 as the Future Secretaries of America. Just as the role of the "administrative professional" has grown and changed, so has the interest, membership, and name of the IAAP Student Chapter.
IAAP Student Chapter prepares students for entrance into the professional world and helps them better understand today's business environment. Membership provides many opportunities including ways to enhance the skills needed to obtain, retain, and get promoted in a job.
Members of the IAAP Student Chapter participate in many activities and programs sponsored by the Roanoke Chapter of International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP). IAAP Student Chapter offers opportunities for meeting professionals and networking for contacts and advice. Students may join a local IAAP chapter once they graduate from college.
