For Returning Students
Students returning to Virginia Western after three years of non-attendance must complete a new application for admission.
Students who have been attending another college or university will also need to have their official transcripts sent to Virginia Western. Official transcripts should be submitted directly to the Admissions Office, Virginia Western Community College, P.O. Box 14007, Roanoke, VA 24038.
Students who have not maintained continuous enrollment at Virginia Western will be readmitted to their chosen curriculum with the graduation requirements in effect at the time of their re-entry into the college/curriculum (i.e., current catalog year).
It is advisable for returning students seeking a degree to talk with a college counselor to better understand how past credits will apply to their new degree.
