For International Students
It is vital that Virginia Western nurtures and facilitates in students a broad working appreciation of the comprehensive and global value of their college education. The job market today requires students to have a worldwide cultural competency to adequately and effectively prepare for the future. The explosion of the Internet, worldwide markets, and global interdependence pinpoint the need to address this international focus for our students. To this end, Virginia Western seeks to foster international growth and cultural proficiency for our students, faculty, and staff. The following list of International Education measures are only examples intended to provide the platform for understanding how students and faculty obtain accessible, affordable, viable, and experiential international educational opportunities.
