The Virginia Western School of Scoial Sciences curriculum is designed for students who plan to transfer to a four-year college or university and major in a field in the area of Social Sciences. The courses in the curriculum include the general education courses and introductory major courses that students typically take during the first two years at a four-year college or university when they are majoring in a field such as:
The AS in Social Sciences with a Specialization in Education is designed for students who plan to transfer to a four-year institution to prepare for a teaching career at the elementary or secondary level.
