Radiography - AAS

This curriculum is designed to prepare selected students to qualify as contributing members of the health team who care for patients under the supervision of qualified physicians. Upon completion of the curriculum, which includes a one-semester internship, the student is eligible to apply to take the ARRT National Registry Examination leading to registration as a Registered Technologist in Radiography, RT (R). Successful completion of the program and certifying exam will qualify a graduate to gain employment as a Radiologic Technologist.

If you are interested in applying to the VWCC Radiography program, we encourage you to explore the information links on this page to learn more about the process.  Once your application and transcripts have been reviewed, our office can provide academic guidance to help prepare students for possible entry into this program.  If you need further assistance, you may contact our office.
