Strategies for Student Success

  1. Students who do not achieve a 78 or higher on any unit test are required to make an appointment for test review.
  2. Students with an identified need will be referred by faculty or can self-refer to the following resources: For additional student services and resources, see Virginia Western General Catalog and VWCC’s website.

Students are expected to follow through with any faculty referrals.
  3. All students are required to attend advising sessions with their assigned academic advisor (nursing faculty). See next page for advising session report.
  4. The expectation is for the student to complete the student report column prior to their scheduled advising appointment.
