Career Coaches are community college employees who are placed in local high schools to help students define their career aspirations and take advantage of post-secondary education services. Additionally, they link students with business & industry and employment opportunities. The goal of the Career Coach initiative is to increase the number of high school graduates prepared for employment or community college/4-year enrollment - especially in career and technical fields, and other career pathways.
