In January 2009, Virginia Western Community College formed the Mechantronics Advisory Committee which includes key industry partners with broad-based knowledge and expertise within the industrial technology sector, representatives from Roanoke's economic development agencies, workforce development profesisonals, and program faculty.
The Mechatronics Advisory Committee has been organized to advise College representatives in areas of curriculum development and evaluation, program promotion, and industry needs assessment. The advisory members collaborate to provide objective, expert advice and shape current and future curriculum and technical content.
VWCC's Division of Business, Engieering and Technology extends it gratitude to the members of MAC for their committment and contributions to the Advanced Technology in Mechatronics Program.
